MALAKOFF — Jacob Teague threw for two touchdowns and ran for another while accounting for 387 total yards in the Malakoff Tigers' 33-20 win over Troup's Tigers in a District 11-2A Division I opener at Tiger Stadium Friday night.

Teague, a senior, ran 25 times for 177 yards and also threw touchdown passes of 39 yards to Tate Taylor and 67 yards to Kash Armstrong. Jesse Ochoa also scored a pair of rushing touchdowns for Malakoff, which celebrated its homecoming.

Malakoff, which led 21-7 at the half, improved to 5-1 on the season with the win. Troup fell to 3-3 overall.
