TATUM - The Tatum Eagles spotted Wills Point an early lead and then reeled off 28 unanswered points en route to a 28-9 win on Friday at Eagle Stadium.

Wills Point (0-4) got on the board with a 36-yard field goal by Vincent Tobias at the 6:50 mark of the first quarter. Tobias later booted a 40-yard field goal with 4:17 to play in the contest to end the scoring, but in between the Eagles rolled.

Cedric White gave the Eagles the lead for good with a 45-yard run at the 11:11 mark of the second quarter, adding the two-pointer for an 8-6 lead.

Five minutes later, LeMarcus Harmon scored from 1-yard out and Aaron Martinez booted the PAT for a 15-6 lead.

White's 65-yard run made it 21-6 at halftime, and the Eagles added to the lead 38 seconds into the second half on a 56-yard run by Harmon.

The Eagles will host Pittsburg on Friday.
