Garland Naaman Forest at Robert E. Lee
When: 7 p.m. Friday
Where: Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium (Earl Campbell Field)

Last Week: Rowlett 52, Naaman Forest 7; Rockwall 65, Robert E. Lee 35
Last Year: Robert E. Lee 75, Naaman Forest 27
All-Time Series: Lee leads 2-0
Players to Watch: Naaman Forest - QB Broderick Hampton (6-2, 185, Jr.), RB Darius Savage (5-6, 165, Sr.). Robert E. Lee - WR Isjuwan Barker (6-3, 185, Sr), DL John Samples (6-3, 250, Sr.).
Quick Slant: Robert E. Lee ran all over this team last year. But that was last year and if there is one thing REL has learned the hard way is to never assume a win is in the bag. The Red Raiders have weapons on offense led by Hall and Barker (35-579 7 TDs) to run away from the Rangers, but every second that REL allows Naaman Forest to hang around is a second the Rangers could use to crush what slim playoff hopes Lee has. All REL can do to assure its season continues is defeat Naaman Forest and hope Sachse takes down Rowlett. Rowlett currently enjoys a 9-2 advantage in their rivalry series, but Sachse has won two of their last three meetings. Last year REL needed Rowlett to beat Sachse to grab the fourth playoff spot.
Quotable: "I thought Zach looked more like Zach last week against a really good team. I think he got his confidence back last week when he broke that long (TD) run. Hopefully that will help us and carry over into this game." Darrell Piske said.
