BULLARD — Bullard’s trio of Corbin Howard, Hunter Landrum and Scott Lowrie hit for double digits in a 53-44 win over Pine Tree on Tuesday night at Panther Gymnasium.

Lowrie (12 points, seven rebounds) and Landrum (14 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals) controlled the paint throughout the game while Howard (17 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block) put up two field goals in each of the first, second and fourth periods.

Pine Tree’s Caleb Chumley led all scorers with 20 points, 12 coming in the final two periods. Victor Hawkins also finished in double figures for the Pirates (1-3), scoring 11 on the night.

The Panthers (2-2) play in the Van Tournament this weekend, opening up with Kennedale at 12:15 p.m. Thursday.

Pine Tree will try to get back on the winning track against Whitehouse, a matchup set for the Lindale Hoop Heaven tournament at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
