MARSHALL - Texarkana Pleasant Grove used a 10-3 run in the second quarter to take the lead and score a 70-61 win over the Chapel Hill Bulldogs on Monday in a Class 4A bi-district basketball game at Maverick Gym on the Marshall High School campus.

The Hawks improve to 22-9 and will face either Brownsboro or Kaufman in an area matchup later this week.

The Bulldogs end their season at 15-17.

Trey Amirault led the Bulldogs with 15 points, while Travion Taylor added 14.

Connor Ouellette led the Hawks with 23 points.
