DALLAS — Zach Shelley exploded for 170 yards and four second-half scores to rally Dallas Parish Episcopal to a 35-10 victory over Bullard Brook Hill on Friday.

The Panthers (2-0) trailed 10-7 at halftime before Shelley scored on runs of 51, 41, 1 and 38 in the second half.

Parish Episcopal, the defending TAPPS Div. II state champs, was outgained by Brook Hill (1-1), the 2010 TAPPS Div. III runners-up, by a 339-283 tally. The Guard were hindered by 11 penalties for 100 yards.

Michael Greening took a receiver reverse 64 yards for Brook Hill’s lone touchdown. Clay Wells knocked in a 29-yard field goal just before halftime to give the Guard a 10-7 lead.

Brook Hill quarterback Travis Pirtle completed 15 of 27 passes for 160 yards but threw two interceptions. Gunnar Dorsey totaled 59 yards on 24 carries.
