MALAKOFF — T.J. Ollison rushed for 207 yards and scored three touchdowns as the Grand Saline Indians scored a 34-14 win over Malakoff on Friday.

Also, Indians freshman quarterback Austen Truett rushed for 136 yards and two TDs on 13 carries. He also passed for 39 yards on 4 of 6 attempts.

Defensively, Truett, playing strong safety, had four tackles and an interception. Also, cornerback Ty Wood had six tackles and an interception.

GS (1-1) middle linebacker Doug Evans had nine tackles, a sack and two tackles for losses. Defensive end Jason Hicks added nine tackles. DE Aaron Savallo had four tackles for loss and a fumble recovery. Outside LB Brian Davis had a fumble recovery.

Scoring TDs for Malakoff (1-1) were Jacob Teague and Jesse Ochoa. Cesar Garcia booted both PATs.

Grand Saline visits Lone Oak Friday, while Malakoff plays host to Kerens. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
