WHITEHOUSE — Patrick Mahomes threw a perfect game, leading the Whitehouse Wildcats to a 15-0 win over the Jacksonville Indians on Friday.

Mahomes pitched four innings and struck out seven Indians.

Jared Raabe (RBI) and Eric Munoz (2 RBIs) each had three hits, while Aaron Clemons and Derek Clemons each had two hits and three RBIs.

Michael Nuon added three RBIs, while Mahomes had two RBIs. Jake Parker had two hits as did Rex Swinney (two doubles).

ETCA’s Suggs throws no-hitter

GREENVILLE — Cade Suggs came within a strike of a perfect game, but settled for a no-hitter as East Texas Christian Academy scored an 18-0 win over Greenville Christian on Friday in a baseball game.

Suggs still struck out all 12 Greenville Christian batters. The lone baserunner reached on an error on a two-strike pitch.

The Panthers (13-4-1, 5-0) also brought out the sticks as Brett Bowers and Brandon Baker each belted three-run homers.

Grayson Pirtle added a 3 for 4 afternoon with two RBIs and a run.

ROCKWALL — Rockwall scored a run in the bottom of the eighth to edge Robert E. Lee, 6-5, in a District 12-5A baseball game Friday.

Lee rallied for a 5-3 lead, but Rockwall scored two in the sixth to tie the game.
