WHITEHOUSE — Jake Parker struck out six in a four-inning perfect game as Whitehouse romped past John Tyler 15-0 on Friday.

Parker threw 32 of his 42 pitches for strikes. He added a hit and two RBIs for the Wildcats, who scored their runs on nine hits and seven walks.

Patrick Mahomes had a game-high two hits while driving in three and scoring three runs. Peyton Conser had a double and four RBIs while Ryan Cheatham added three RBIs and two runs.

Caleb McNulty (steal), Coleman Patterson (double) and Mason House all scored two runs for Whitehouse while Peyton Conser and Rex Swinney each added doubles.

John Tyler's Jeremy Wilson took the loss, striking out two in 2 1-3 innings.

Nacogdoches 1, Lindale 0

NACOGDOCHES — Sam Sitton was involved in another pitching duel in District 16-4A.

The Lindale Eagles hurler was nearly unhittable. But so was Nacogdoches starter Bringham Hill. Sitton gave up one run off four hits with five strikeouts, but Hill was even better.

The Dragons pitcher blanked Lindale through seven in a 1-0 Nacogdoches win over Lindale on Friday.

The Eagles hit Hill hard, but the Dragons defense would not budge as Lindale managed one hit. That lone hit came in the sixth inning, a single by Jon French. Kris Bond was walked in the seventh, but was left stranded.

Nacogdoches scored the only run of the game on an RBI double from Hunter McClellan.

Lindale is in action Tuesday at Whitehouse with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m.

 

Gilmer 2, Chapel Hill 0

GILMER — Mitch Lange had three of Gilmer's 10 hits as Gilmer edged Chapel Hill 2-0 on Friday.

Nathan Jenkins and Ryen Lawhorn had the games only RBIs for the Buckeyes (16-5).

Bullard Brook Hill 17, Dallas Lutheran 0

BULLARD — Daniel Priddy struck out 11 and threw a one-hit shutout as Bullard Brook Hill blanked Dallas Lutheran 17-0 on Friday.

Priddy also came through with two hits and four RBIs for the Guard (11-6).

Ryan Cox went 3 for 3 with an RBI, two runs and a walk for Brook Hill. Blake Maddox (double, three runs) and Seth Brasher (double, two RBIs, three runs, steal) also had two hits for the Guard.
