HARMONY — The Harmony Eagles took control of District 9-2A Division I with a 41-6 win over the Jefferson Bulldogs on Friday.

With both teams going into the game with 2-0 district records, Harmony took control early behind the running of Matt Jose, who finished with four touchdowns.

Harmony (7-1, 3-0) held a 21-6 lead at halftime on scoring runs of 19 and 3 yards by Jose and a 46-yard pass from Wesley Schoon to Lewis Laskew.

Jefferson (4-4, 2-1) scored on an 18-yard pass from Baily Frantangelo to David Police.

The Eagles added 20 more points in the second half on touchdown runs of 26 and 3 yards by Jose and a closing touchdown run by Juan Montoya.
