Bishop Gorman handed Grace Community its first TAPPS 2-4A loss of the year in an exciting 11-10 come-from-behind win in Tuesday afternoon at John Carney Field.

Carney's granddaughter, Angela Carney, drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh to force in the winning run.

Grace (3-1) led 4-0 after three innings as four Gorman errors helped the Cougars.

Katelyn Jacobi got the win on the mound and also aided herself with a two-run triple in the fourth, which tied the game at 4-4. Jacobi later blasted a two-run double to tie the game again, this time at 10-10.

A walk followed by a hit from Sarah Kent and then another walk loaded the bases for Carney's walk-off walk.

Rebecca Waters was a catalyst in the leadoff spot for Gorman, scoring four runs while going 2 for 3 at the plate. Sarah Nemec and Madi Lamance each scored twice for TKG.

Kylee Stanley led the Lady Cougars with a 3for-4 showing, scoring three runs. Hannah Wright, Kandace West and Kristen Mayfield also added two hits apiece.

West hammered a two-run double in the fifth for a 9-4 advantage for the Lady Cougars.
