Tristan Saint hit a walk-off single in the eighth inning as Bishop Gorman celebrated “Senior Night” with a 5-4 win over Waco Reicher on Wednesday.

Cannon Woods struck out 13 in six innings for the Crusaders.

Woods, Asher Boudreaux, Taylor Kemp and Logan Maloney paced Gorman’s offense with two hits apiece.

Lady Cougars Top Rival Lady Crusaders

Kylee Stanley went 3 for 4 with three RBIs, a double and a triple to help Grace Community defeat rival Bishop Gorman 12-3 in TAPPS 2-4A softball action Wednesday.

Haley Evans also went 3 for 4 for the Lady Cougars, who received two hits apiece from Brooke McClenny, Taylor Kingsley and Fallon Roberts.

Grace hosts Dallas Parish Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. today. It will be the grand opening for the Lady Cougars’ new field on campus for which ceremonies begin at 4:15 p.m.
