Bullard's Rumbelow drafted by Yankees

Bullard graduate Nick Rumbelow has a decision to make after the LSU junior was selected in the seventh round (No. 224) Friday by the New York Yankees in the 2013 Major League Baseball Player Draft.

Rumbelow has made 29 appearances as a relief pitcher for the Tigers this season, posting a 3.56 ERA, allowing 12 earned runs with 12 walks and 32 strikeouts.

Rumbelow was one of four LSU players taken Friday in the draft, joining JaCoby Jones (3rd round, Pittsburgh Pirates), Mason Katz (fourth round, St. Louis Cardinals) and Will LaMarche (ninth round, Detroit Tigers).
