BETHEL — The Buffalo football team charged into Scarborough Stadium Friday night, and when the dust settled the Bison walked away with a convincing win 54-7 over Cayuga.
The scoring didn't start until the final play of the first quarter when Buffalo's Jose Dominguez took it in for a 15-yard score.
In the second quarter, the Bison scored 21 points, led by two touchdown passes from Logan Jones to D.J. Jackson, bringing the score to 28-0 at halftime.
In the second half, Dominguez took over the game offensively for Buffalo.
Dominguez rushed for two touchdowns in the third quarter alone, and four touchdowns on the night.
Cayuga was finally able to put the ball in the end zone with a 49-yard touchdown pass from Jake Nash to Chris McDaniel on the final play of the game.
With the win, Buffalo advances to 3-0, while Cayuga will look to regroup next week after an 0-3 start.
