BROWNSBORO - For the third straight season, the Brownsboro Bears not only won the district basketball championship, but also they were undefeated in league play.

Kenneth Woods hit for 19 points and Wyatt Rinehart added 17 as the Bears defeated Rains 80-36 in the District 13-4A finale for both teams.

Michael Daniels was also in double figures with 12 points as the Bears finish the regular season at 22-7 overall and 10-0 in district play.

Brownsboro, under coach Brent Smith, advance to the playoffs and will face North Lamar next week in bi-district.
