BULLARD - The Brook Hill School senior Jordon McGowen signed to play football with Southeastern Oklahoma State University of Durant, Okla., on Monday during a ceremony in Founders Suite in the Kyle Lake Athletic Center.
McGowen was a three-year starter on the football team. He was on offense, defense and special teams.
"One of our top players at Brook Hill who worked extremely hard in the weight room, and spoke to his teammates by the way he conducted himself on the field and off the field," Guard head coach Scott Ryle said. "Jordan will have the opportunity to play early for Southeastern."
Brook Hill athletic director Wally Dawkins said, "Jordon leads by example. Jordan has a strong work ethic, but is also a man of great character, and is a model of what Brook Hill student athletes should strive to be like."
Jordon's parents are Tim and Regina McGowen. Jordon has a brother Jermiah and a sister Asia who also attend The Brook Hill Upper School.
