DALLAS - Brook Hill’s Jermiah McGowen scored on a 5-yard run with 40 seconds remaining to give the Guard a 31-28 win over Dallas Triple A Academy on Friday.

The Guard (3-0) needed a big third-down catch from Parker Galbraith to set up McGowen’s score. It was one of two touchdowns McGowen had in the game.

Brook Hill coach Scott Ryle is still unbeaten in his first season with the Guard, but said “We didn’t play that great, but found a way to get it done.”

Brook Hill also got a TD run from quarterback Hood Taylor and a field goal by Caleb Collins.
