All Saints wins Lindale tournament

HIDEAWAY - The All Saints Lady Trojans won the team championship and Whitehouse’s Kyndall Morgan claimed medalist honors on Monday in the Lindale High School/HAWL Girls Invitational Golf Tournament held at Hide-A-Way Lake Club.

The Lady Trojans scored a total of 399 for the gold.

They were followed by Sabine (404), Hallsville (406), Whitehouse (407), Robert E. Lee (439), Van (458), Grace Community (461) and Chapel Hill (472).

Morgan was the top individual with an 85.

Sabine’s Shelby Burns was second at 90 with Hallsville’s Fanci Quinn third at 92. All Saints’ Frances Hackney had a 92 as well, with Lindale’s Bethany Simmons and Mount Pleasant’s Reagan Ball carding 94s.

Joining Hackney on the All Saints team were Jordan Smith (99), Kendall Rhodus (98), Emily Evans (110) and Perri Marshall (119).

Sabine players, along with Burns, were Bailey Whatley (101), Destiny Bobo (105), Brookelyn Gray (108) and Kylie Crowley (114).

Bethany Rocha and Natalie Perkins led REL with 99s, while Morgan Ellis paced John Tyler with a 107.

Courtney Pickett topped Van with a 98 with Grace Community and Chapel Hill led by Lauren Evans (109) and Megan Tucker (114), respectively.

Jessie Ash led Sulphur Springs with a 99 and Brownsboro’s Kassidy Grace had a 106.
