All Saints continued its winning ways Thursday with a swift sweep of Dallas Christian at the Brookshire Gym.

The Lady Trojans (16-7, 6-0) won 25-12, 25-16, 25-15 to open TAPPS 2-4A play with six straight victories. 

Katrina Kastmo paced All Saints with 13 kills, eight digs and three blocks. Maddie Smith supplied 24 assists and nine digs.

Also contributing for the Lady Trojans were Lanna Johnson (six kills, four digs), Kaitlyn Huskey (five kills, seven digs) and Madeline Wynne (five kills, four digs).

The JV match was also won by All Saints, 25-18, 18-25, 15-11.

All Saints faces a road test at 1 p.m. Saturday at Waco Reicher, which opened league play with five straight wins.

Grace Community 3, Dallas First Baptist 1

DALLAS — Rilee Miller and Emma Yeatts combined for 24 kills and 29 assists as Grace Community defeated Dallas First Baptist in four games Thursday.

The Lady Cougars (14-13, 3-3 TAPPS?2-4A) won 25-12, 25-20, 21-25, 25-11.

Yeatts had 12 kills and 15 assists with Miller adding 12 kills and 14 assists for Grace, which moved into a tie for fourth place with Dallas Christian (3-3 in district).

Emery Cannon and Ashley Sisemore each had seven kills for the Lady Cougars. Sisemore and Yeatts both chipped in five digs.

Grace will host Dallas Parish Episcopal at noon on Saturday.
