All Saints, Brook Hill in Brookshire final

The All Saints Trojans placed four players in double figures to defeat Bullard Brook Hill, 64-50, in the semifinals of the Bruce G. Brookshire Classic on Friday.

All Saints will play Grace Community in the championship game at 4:30 p.m. today and Brook Hill will meet T.K. Gorman for third place at 10:30 a.m. at the Bruce G. Brookshire Family Student Athletic Center.

Jonathan Lewis (17 points), Luke Edgemon (16 points), Brad Robertson (15 points) and Benjamin Taylor (12 points) produced 60 of the Trojans’ 64 points.

Brook Hill’s Grant Hanks scored a game-high 29 points and Carter Clements contributed 10 points for the Guard.

Jimmy Negem scored 18 of his team’s 20 points in the fourth quarter to help lift the Grace Community Cougars to a 49-40 win over T.K. Gorman on Friday in the semifinals of the Bruce G. Brookshire Basketball Classic at All Saints School.

Grace advances to the finals, which is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

TKG will play for third-place at 1:30 p.m.

Negem hit for 31 points as the Cougars pulled away in the fourth quarter.

Caleb Williams led the Crusaders with 14 points.

Lady Crusaders Advance To Final

Brooke Lee and Michelle Obach combined for 30 points as the T.K. Gorman Lady Crusaders advanced to the championship game with a 56-34 semifinal victory over Grace Community in the Bruce G. Brookshire Classic.

Gorman will take on Austin Brentwood, a 27-23 victor over Frisco Legacy, at 3 p.m. today at the Bruce G. Brookshire Family Student Athletic Center.

Lee scored 16 points, while nailing three 3-pointers and Obach added 14 points for the Lady Crusaders.
