BROWNSBORO - Jamal Bell and Kenneth Woods each hit for 19 points as the Brownsboro Bears defeated Mabank 61-45 on Tuesday to clinch a share of the District 13-4A boys basketball title and the No. 1 seed.

Brownsboro (20-7, 8-0) can clinch the outright district championship with a win over Van on Friday in Brownsboro.

Brownsboro will be honoring the Bears' 1967 state basketball championship team at halftime on Friday.

Jake Conner added 11 points for the Bears, who have defeated the second-place Panthers (17-13, 6-2) twice.

Jordan Thomas led Mabank with 19 points and Caleb Dally added 12.
