Grace Community senior center Josh Boylan was selected to the TAPPS Division II first-team all state offense after anchoring a unit that averaged nearly 500 yards of offense.

The Cougars also had three players selected to the all-state second team, including junior Kade Clayton, a selection at running back and defensive back. Clayton had 2,013 yards of total offense and 32 touchdown while also finishing the year as one of Grace’s leading tacklers.

Also on the second team were senior defensive lineman Grant McCarty, who led Grace with 5.5 tackles to go along with 70 tackles, and senior receiver Statler Lewis, who had a team-best 40 receptions for 696 yards and eight touchdowns.

Bullard Brook Hill senior offensive lineman Mason Dickey earned honorable mention after helping the Guard average 397.1 yards per game.

Also earning honorable mention were three Grace seniors: quarterback Blake White (2,080 passing, 699 rushing, 28 total TDs), receiver Lin Gillham (30-538, six TDs) and linebacker Jacob Spitzer (66 tackles, three sacks).
