Michelle Obach may be running out of room on her mantle.

The Bishop Gorman senior was named TAPPS 2-4A Most Valuable Player for the third straight year, with her coach, Katie Robertson, also earning three consecutive Coach of the Year honors after the Lady Crusaders won their fifth straight league title, the last three coming with unblemished records.

Obach led East Texas in scoring with 23.9 points per game, adding 3.9 assists, 4.0 steals and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 58 percent from the field.

Robertson guided Gorman to a regular season title and the district's first tournament title.

The Lady Crusaders had three players on the all-TAPPS 2-4A first team, including Obach, senior forward Susannah Williams and junior guard Brooke Lee.

Williams averaged 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while Lee was Gorman's second-leading scorer with 12.5 points while hitting an East Texas-best 61 3-pointers at a 40-percent clip.

Grace Community senior post Rebekah Provines also earned first-team honors after helping to lead the Lady Cougars to the playoffs.

Dallas Christian sophomore forward Hunter Cauley was named Offensive Player of the year, with Waco Reicher senior post Sarah Beth Toben earning Defensive Player of the Year.

Cori Schnell, a freshman guard from Carrollton Prince of Peace, was Newcomer of the Year and Ashlan Miles, a freshman forward from Dallas Christian, was Freshman of the Year.

The remainder of Gorman's starting five was named to the second team: senior guard Ally Buzbee and senior guard/forward Danielle Smith.

All Saints sophomore guard Sydney Barrett was also named to the second team. Barrett had two teammates earn honorable mention: sophomore post Sarah Smith and junior guard Gabrielle Bosworth.
