The 10th Cardinal Hall of Fame class was inducted Saturday at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens. Joining the shrine were: La Shanda Haynes (for Gary Haynes Jr., football); Kenya Larkin Landers (women’s basketball); Justin Allgood (football); Paul Atkins (men’s basketball); Michael Landers (women’s basketball) and Kenya Bibbs (women’s basketball).

“Our 10th induction class is without question a great representation of the storied tradition of our athletic teams,” said Benny Rogers, sports information officer and chairman of the hall of fame selection committee. “Each of them were significant contributors in the championship foundation on which our athletic program is built."

Rogers said it was an honor to have them back on campus and recognize them for their contributions.

The ceremony took place at the Student Union Building ballroom.

The group was also recognized during the football game between Trinity Valley and Navarro at Bruce Field.
