The unbeaten Tyler Junior College basketball teams open Region XIV Conference play on Saturday at Wagstaff Gymnasium.

Jacksonville College is the visiting team.

The women play at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4 p.m.

The Apache Ladies are ranked No. 10 in the nation with a 4-0 mark.

The Jacksonville College Lady Jaguars are 3-1 on the season.

The Apaches are 6-0.

The Jaguars are also 6-0 and opened conference play earlier this week against Paris and scored a 100-75 victory in Jacksonville.

Other women's conference games on Saturday include: Blinn (5-1) at Bossier Parish (6-1), Coastal Bend (1-5) at Panola (4-2), Kilgore (5-1) at Angelina (6-2) and Paris (3-3) at San Jacinto (5-1). All games are scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Trinity Valley (3-0) is open.

Other men's games include: Blinn (7-0) at Bossier Parish (1-3), San Jacinto (5-3) at Navarro (3-5), Angelina (5-2) at Trinity Valley (7-1), Coastal Bend (4-2) at Panola (6-2), Lamar State-Port Arthur (2-2) at Paris (4-3, 0-1) and Lee College (5-1) at Kilgore (7-0). All games are slated for 4 p.m.

Both TJC teams will be back in action on Tuesday with the Apache Ladies playing host to Paris Junior College at 5:30 p.m., while the Apaches travel south to Baytown to take on Lee College at 7 p.m.

The Lady Jaguars play host to Panola at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Jaguars follow with a 7:30 p.m. meeting with Navarro.
