The Tyler Junior College Apaches stretched their winning streak to four games, sweeping Dallas Christian on Saturday in a doubleheader at Mike Carter Field.
The Apaches (26-13) won the first game 7-0 with Nico Moran leading the way with two doubles and three stolen bases.
In the second game, TJC won 10-3 as Trey Wooten had two hits and two RBIs. He also added a triple.
Joining Moran in the Apache hit parade were Jeremy Christian, Blaine Hashagen and Connor Lewis with a hit apiece.
Tyler Ernest added two RBIs, while Christian knocked in a run.
Cody Ellerbee got the win on the mound, going four innings while striking out six and allowing only one walk. He was followed on the hill by Jacob French, Jackie Black, Will Abbott and Nick Johnson.
Wooten had a perfect day with his 2-for-2 outing.
Ernest (RBI) and Jon McManemin (RBI) each had two hits for the Apaches. One of Ernest’s hits was a double.
Adding one hit each were Hunter Sutton (RBI), Jacob Soisson (RBI), Hunter Rekieta (RBI), Derek Vogl, PJ Worthen and Ron Reemts.
Payton Smith got the win, going four innings while striking out five and walking only one. He was followed by Kyle Sargent, Kevin Osborn, Zach Aitken and Hashagen.
The Apaches return to play Monday at Mike Carter Field, hosting Bossier Parish Community College in a single game beginning at 6 p.m.
