The No. 1 Tyler Junior College baseball team extended their win streak to 11 games with a 12-10 victory over Bossier Parish Community College on Monday at Mike Carter Field.
The Apaches (28-8) won the slugfest which featured 28 hits, 15 by the Cavaliers (18-18).
TJC broke out to 8-2 and 12-6 leads before holding off BPCC.
Hunter Wells had three hits for the Apaches with Jordan Trahan (RBI), Jace Campbell (double, 2 RBIs) and Tanner Arst (2 RBIs) adding two hits apiece.
Matt Mikusek (2 RBIs), Mason Mallard (RBI), Colton Whitehouse (double, RBI) and Jared Pauley all had hits as well for TJC.
Zach Stanley led the Cavaliers with a two-run homer, along with a double and a single. Brooks Robey added a triple and three RBIs. Cole Pippin was 4 for 4 with a double.
