Fast Break: St. Thomas brings a six-game losing streak into the fray, averaging 53 points during the skid. Texas College scored its second-highest total only to fall to Wiley on Monday. One game separates five teams from seventh-12th in the RRAC, with TC a half-game back of St. Thomas for the final postseason spot heading into the midway point of league play.

Fast Break: St. Thomas used its defense to win a third straight game against Paul Quinn on Monday. The conference newcomers, who sit in a tie for second place with Texas Wesleyan, rank first in the conference in scoring defense (68.5). Texas College continued a turnaround in an 11-point win Monday at Wiley, its second straight victory over a top-five team in the conference. After playing St. Thomas, Texas College welcomes a promising seven-game stretch, with six of the games against teams behind them and the other with a team even with them in the standings.
