NACOGDOCHES — Jacob Parker scored 19 points to lead Stephen F. Austin past UT Tyler 90-64 on Friday night.

The defending Southland Conference regular season champs beat up on Division III UT Tyler. Dresmond Haymon scored 17 points and Nikola Gajic added 14 for Stephen F. Austin. The win was the first under new head coach Brad Underwood. The Lumberjacks are 10-4 in their last 14 season openers.

Bryce Kemp led UT Tyler with 11 points in 25 minutes of play. The game was an exhibition for the Patriots, who open their season on Saturday Nov. 22 against Rhodes.
