Tyler Junior College's pressure defense and selfless passing was too much for Arkansas Baptist College, as the Apache Ladies won 99-56 in the final contest of opening day of the Staybridge Suites Classic at Wagstaff Gym.

Tyler (3-0) outscored the Lady Buffs by 22 points in the first quarter, thanks to a 13-0 spurt midway in the opening stanza.

Jasmine Williams led a balanced Tyler scoring with 12 points and Autumn Avina and Nwoshh each contributed 11 points each. Grant was the other Apache Lady in double figures with 10.
