DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Tyler Junior College remained in eighth place after Tuesday’s second round of the NJCAA Women’s National Golf Championship at LPGA International.

The Apache Ladies have a two-round total of 677 (334-343).

Redlands (Okla.) leads with a 595 (295-300), followed by Western Texas at 618 (312-306). Host Daytona State (Fla.) is third at 623 (311-312), while McLennan CC is fourth at 624 (309-315).

Others in front of TJC are Seminole State (Fla.) (318-309—627), Mesa (Ariz.) (327-320—627) and Texarkana (333-328—661).

There are 17 teams in the tournament with more than 100 players entered.

Sarah Schober of Redlands leads the medalist race with a 144 (73-71),

Maraea Durie tops the Apache Ladies. She is 34th at 167 (83-84). Other TJC golfers include: 37, Lisa Frauenberger (83-85—168); T38, Alexandria Martinez (82-87—169); 44, Sarah Murray (86-88—174); and T58, Megan Anthony (95-87—182).
