WHITEHOUSE - The Brownsboro Bearettes finished 3-2 in the Whitehouse Softball Tournament over the weekend.

Kirsten Anderson was the winning pitcher in all three victories.

On Thursday, the Bearettes were 0-2 with losses to Malakoff (11-0) and Cayuga (4-3). Against Malakoff, Becca McGough and Cassie Blevins each had hits. In the Cayuga game, McGough had two hits and scored a run, while MJ Alexander had two hits and scored a run.

On Saturday, Brownsboro bounced back for three wins - 11-2 over Bullard Brook Hill; 10-1 over Athens and 5-0 over Hemphill.

In the Brook Hill game, Alexander was 4 for 4 with a double, two RBIs and three runs, while Anderson was 3 for 3 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run.

In the win over Athens, Alexander was 3 for 3 with two runs scored, while Cassie Blevins had two hits, a triple, three RBIs and two runs scored.

In the final game of the day, Morgyn Fulgham had two hits and an RBI, while Chelsea Foster was 1 for 1 with a run scored.

The Bearettes play at Mineola on Tuesday and in the Canton Tournament Thursday and Saturday.
