BROWNSBORO — Jared Bragdon threw for three TDs as the Brownsboro Bears defeated the Wills Point Tigers 42-7 in a non-district game Friday.

Bragdon finished the game 7 of 13 for 228 yards as the Bears improved to 2-2 for the season.

Brownsboro took a quick 7-0 first-quarter lead on Bragdon’s first touchdown throw, a 24-yard pass to Tyler Thomison.

The Bears upped their lead to 14-0 midway through the period on a 60-yard scoring toss from Bragdon to Tristan Moore.

Brownsboro continued to add to its lead in the second quarter on a 2-yard carry by Damien Thompson and a fumble recovery for a TD and a 28-0 lead. Thompson ended the game with 93 yards on 23 carries.

Brownsboro put up 14 more points in the third, scoring on a 11-yard run by Mitchell Penny and a 37-yard Bragdon to Caleb Seale TD pass.

Wills Point (1-3) finally found the end zone in the fourth on a 6-yard run by Jonny Parker.
