All Saints celebrated Senior Night for four Lady Trojans with a three-game sweep over Bishop Gorman on Thursday night at Brookshire Gym. All Saints won 25-11, 25-12, 25-19.

The Lady Trojans (4-4 TAPPS 2-4A) were paced by Sydney Barrett, who had 12 kills, six digs and six blocks. Ferrell Clyde and Hanna Waits added eight kills apiece, while birthday girl Foster Hackney gave away birthday presents with 34 assists.

The Lady Crusaders (2-6) got 10 assists and 10 digs from Kaitlyn Jacobi, while Kianna Udenze powered four kills and Kristian Loving added five digs.

Game 1 came with several Gorman unforced errors and some efficient service work for All Saints in a 25-11 game.

In Game 2, Gorman made it tough early with seven side-outs as the game fought to ties at 4-4 and 5-5. All Saints’ Sarah Smith hit a service roll of six points, including two aces and a huge hustle point by Frances Hackney to save service. The Lady Trojans finished on a 10-1 run to win 25-12.

The Lady Trojans jumped to a 3-0 lead and never looked back in the finale. Leanne Johnson had an ace and a seven-point run for Gorman, but it was too late trailing 16-12.

All Saints clinched the fourth seed in the upcoming district tournament and will travel to play at Dallas Christian. Gorman will play Frisco Legacy Christian.

All first-round winners will advance to the remainder of the TAPPS 2-4A tournament set for Legacy Christian, Nov. 16 to 18.
