All Saints, Bishop Gorman and Grace Community all placed a player on the TAPPS 2-4A all-district girls basketball first team.

The first team included Lady Crusaders senior guard Brooke Lee, Lady Cougars senior guard Megan Raborar and Lady Trojans senior guard Kelcee Harwood.

Harwood overcame torn ACLs in both knees to average 18 points, 3.5 assists, 3.9 steals and 6.1 rebounds per game while also shooting 81 percent from the free throw line.

Lee led Gorman in scoring (17.2), assists (5.4), steals (3.3) and 3-pointers (81).

Cori Schnell of Carrollton Prince of Peace was named the TAPPS 2-4A Most Valuable Player. Anna Pierce of Dallas Parish Episcopal and Ashlyn Miles of Dallas Christian were named Offensive and Defensive MVPs, respectively.

Dallas Christian Addison Southers earned Freshman of the Year while Warren Southers was the Coach of the Year. Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill’s Keshona Hawkins was named Newcomer of the Year.

Gorman senior guard Courtney Fergerson, who averaged 8.8 points and 4.3 assists per game, was named to the second team. Joining her was Grace junior guard Taylor Kingsley.

All Saints freshman post Hannah Huckabee and sophomore guard Kendall Rhodus earned honorable mention, as did Grace sophomore guard Parker Daughtry. Gorman senior guard Colleen Allare (8.7 points) and senior forward Mandie VanderVorste (8.5 rebounds) were also honorable mention.
