NEW LONDON — The West Rusk Raiders overcame an early 16-0 deficit, scoring 34 unanswered points and rolling to a 48-22 win over the Harmony Eagles on Friday at Bruce Bradshaw Stadium.

HARLETON — Landon McKinney tossed touchdown passes to three different receivers, Sabine's defense got into the scoring act and the Cardinals improved to 3-0 on the season with a 48-14 win over previously unbeaten Harleton at Wildcat Field.

DAINGERFIELD — Despite of having an enormous amount of penalties, the Daingerfield Tigers still managed to do just enough on their Homecoming night to get by the Lions of New Boston 26-12 to move to a record of (2-1) on the season.

CENTER — Three Bears topped the century mark on the ground and combined to score seven rushing touchdowns, the defense came away with four turnovers and Gladewater improved to 2-1 on the season with a 48-28 win over Center.

EMORY — Whitehouse's Matthew Gooden ran for more than 100 yards, but Melissa quarterback Brendon Lewis threw for three touchdowns as the Cardinals defeated the Wildcats 36-14 on Friday in neutral site game at Rains High School's Wildcat Stadium.

PRICE — Scoring on 10 of its 11 possessions, the Carlisle Indians had little trouble dispatching Overton, ripping apart the Mustangs 76-0 at Arrowhead Stadium. This was the first win of the season for Carlisle, which came into the game 0-2. Overton fell to 0-3.

PITTSBURG — In a wild one that featured five points in the final stanza — three by Tatum and two by Pittsburg — the Tatum Eagles broke into the win column on Friday with a 31-16 win over the Pirates.

ELYSIAN FIELDS — Ryan Wilkerson ran and passed for over 200 yards, but it wasn’t enough as Elysian Fields suffered its first loss of the season 41-34 to Winona on Friday at Jacket Stadium.

CARROLLTON — Playing in still-warm conditions on a balmy Friday night here at Eagles Stadium, about the only thing that could slow down the high-powered offense of Prince of Peace Lutheran was dehydration.

BULLARD — Buck Buchanan booted a 28-yard field goal in overtime, lifting the Hallsville Bobcats to a 16-13 win over the Bullard Panthers on Friday at Panther Stadium.
