HUGHES SPRINGS — Hughes Springs spotted Tatum an early touchdown and held a slim halftime lead before exploding for 29 second-half points en route to a 50-13 win over the Eagles at Mustang Stadium.

EMORY — The Rains Wildcats held off a furious White oak fourth-quarter rally to register a 32-29 win on Friday at Wildcat Stadium. 

GLADEWATER — Fans who came out Friday night expecting a good old-fashioned donnybrook between state-ranked foes Gladewater and Texarkana Pleasant Grove left Jack V. Murphy-Bear Stadium considerably underwhelmed.

CARTHAGE — After three weeks of having its offense running like a fine-tuned engine, the Carthage Bulldogs were running a little rough Friday night at Bulldog Stadium.

KILGORE — Tracy Cooper rushed for a game-high 236 yards and scored twice in leading Texas High to a 30-14 victory over Kilgore on Friday night at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium.

HENDERSON — Kevin Fields ran for two touchdowns and threw for another, Caleb Medford and D'Cameron Walker chipped in two rushing touchdowns apiece and Henderson blew out Center 63-7 Friday.

LAIRD HILL — Dawson Blear tossed a pair of touchdown passes, De'Quincy Brown and Jonah Sheperd rushed for a pair of scores apiece and Leverett's Chapel remained unbeaten on the year with a 45-16 six-man win over Longview Trinity School of Texas.

VAN — There wasn’t much action on homecoming night at Van Memorial Stadium, but the Van Vandals were still happy to walk away with a win over the Pittsburg Pirates, 7-0.

CANTON — Chris Hobbs threw for 263 yards and Chris Cade went over the century mark at receiver, but Mabank’s methodical attack proved too much and spoiled the Eagles’ homecoming 42-21 Friday at Norris Birdwell Stadium.
