TYLER — Jace Jordan Black was born November 16, 1985 and left this world to be with our Heavenly Father on March 21, 2020.
Jace was a 2004 graduate of Gladewater High School and a 2007 graduate of Texas A & M University. Jacer, as his friends called him, was an avid hunter, lover of music and movies. He could quote any Johnny Cash song, Jim Carrey, Johnny Depp and Clint Eastwood movie. He was caring, thoughtful, genuine, and quick witted.
Jace was preceded in death by his Nannie, JoAnn Medlock Murphy.
He is survived by his stepfather and mother, Greg and Joni LaCour of Longview, Texas, father, Johnny Black, of Gladewater, Texas, brother-in-law and sister, Chad and Jordan Henson and their children, Emersyn and Holden, of League City, Texas, grandfather, Jimmy Murphy, of Tyler, Texas and grandparents, John and JoAnn Black of Gladewater, Texas.
