DALLAS (AP) — Dallas police say a woman accused of providing illegal buttocks injections has turned herself in to authorities.
Police announced Wednesday that the 43-year-old woman has surrendered to the Dallas County District Attorney's Office.
An arrest affidavit says the suspect performed the injections that were sealed with super glue on a customer, who said she suffered soreness and psychological problems after visiting the salon.
Authorities had sought the suspect on charges of practicing medicine without a license. Police still seek another woman who also is accused of administering the injections.
Meanwhile, police are investigating whether butt injections at the salon may have killed a woman last month. The medical examiner's office hasn't yet determined the cause of death.
