The Smith County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public to help locate a woman who has been missing for more than a week.

Elizabeth Hamilton, 28, took her mother’s car to get cigarettes about 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 25 and has not been seen or heard from by family since, according to a news release from the Smith County Sheriff’s Office.

Ms. Hamilton left a note for her mother, but her phone is now turned off.

She is about 5-foot-5 and weighs about 115 pounds. She has brown hair and eyes and a thin build. She has several tattoos including stars on her left wrist, a lock on her inner right forearm, and a skull tattoo on one of her calves, according to police.

Her mother told officers she might be in Kilgore or Atlanta, Texas.

Ms. Hamilton was reported missing, and her mother’s beige 2004 Cadillac SRX TX LP was reported stolen. Its license plate is BHZ0217.

Anyone who thinks they have seen her or the Cadillac is asked to call Detective Justin Hall at 903-590-2696.
