Ross & Shoalmire, a local law firm, will honor local veterans by hosting a free showing of the new film "Midway" on Monday, which is Veterans Day.

Each veteran who participates will receive two passes. The showing will be at Times Square Grand Slam, 5201 S. Broadway Ave., Tyler. Each guest will receive a complimentary small drink, tray of popcorn and candy.

The law firm started treating veterans in 2015 with the release of the World War II film “Unbroken,” said John Ross with Ross & Shoalmire.

“We originally came up with this idea when the movie 'Unbroken' was released,” Ross said. “We just thought it would be a great way to honor our veterans. That showing of “Unbroken” was such a success that we did it again with the movie 'Range 15.'

"With 'Midway' being released Veterans Day weekend, it just seemed like another great opportunity to show appreciation for our veterans.”

“It’s important to our firm to honor our veterans in the community as a way ... to say thank you for your service to each and every one who attend,” says Kline Pillow, of Ross & Shoalmire.
