Investigators for Tyler Police Department arrested a Tyler man Monday in connection with two robberies.
Jaime Valle, 33, was charged with robbery of a business, the Racetrack store at 1736 E. Gentry Parkway. He is accused of entering the business at about 8:50 a.m. Thursday and demanding money from the clerk. Bond was set at $100,000 on that charge.
Valle was also charged with aggravated robbery of the Exxon gas station, 1811 S. Broadway Ave. That incident occurred about 4:50 p.m. Sunday. The suspect in that case entered the store asking about the restroom, then approached the clerk displaying a knife and demanding money from the register. Bond was set at $250,000 on that charge.
Valle was booked into the Smith County Jail.
