The Tyler Junior College campus rocked to the sounds of zydeco music on Friday as students and staff gathered for the annual Apache Homecoming parade and block party on the lawn in front of Jenkins Hall.

The Mardi Gras-themed parade started at the TJC tennis courts parking lot and wound through the campus and along Fifth Street. Athletic teams and other student organizations shared a moment in the spotlight as they were introduced while the Apache cheerleaders and Apache Belles entertained and cheered. Additional music was provided by the Apache Marching Band.

The Apaches host Georgia Military College for the homecoming game at 3 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium in Tyler.
