A photography scavenger hunt will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 17, at the Tyler Rose Garden, 420 Rose Park Dr.

During the hunt, families and participants are encouraged to look through the eyes of an ant as they hunt through the garden for hidden clues, which will be given inside of a sealed envelope.

The event is free and all that is needed is a cellphone with camera capabilities. Registration will be between 9:40 and 9:55 a.m. on that day.

The first family to find and complete all the clues accurately will win a prize. All participants will be given water and a light snack.

The event is held as part of the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department’s Outdoor Adventure Series and is funded by the Outdoor Adventure Coop Grant through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, as well as by staff from the center.

To register in advance, call 903-595-7271 for details.
