Tyler police have arrested three suspects in connection to the late-night aggravated robbery Saturday at Wal-Mart on South Broadway Avenue.
The suspects are identified as Breonna Poole, 22, of Shreveport, Louisiana; Justice Poole, 18, of Shreveport, Louisiana; and a 14-year-old juvenile, of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Investigators continue to seek the identity of more suspects who are involved in the incident and who are responsible for striking a pedestrian in the parking lot.
At about 11:50 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the store at the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and South Town Drive.
Witnesses told police several subjects entered the store, held an employee at gunpoint and took an undisclosed amount of cash. As the suspects drove away, they struck a pedestrian with their vehicle, police said. The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated on-scene.
The pedestrian told officers that he was attempting to stop the suspects as they were making their getaway when he was struck, suffering minor injuries. The vehicle that struck him was described as a dark colored 4-door sedan, occupied with two subjects.
Shortly after the robbery, Tyler patrol officers stopped one of the suspect vehicles, a 2010 Dodge Avenger, at South Broadway Avenue and Chimney Rock. Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle and determined they were involved in the robbery.
They were taken into custody and transported to Smith County Jail and Juvenile Attention Center. Officers located the cash bags with money and other items of evidence. The weapon involved was recovered by a store manager outside in the parking lot. It was a BB gun that resembled a real handgun.
The case remains under investigation.
