Some private school students were up bright and early Wednesday, ready to begin the new school year at Bishop T.K. Gorman Regional Catholic School and St. Gregory School - a week before most area classes are set to be back in session.

Students filled the halls, excitedly heading from class to class at Gorman. Meanwhile, Bishop Joseph Strickland and the priests from the Tyler diocese greeted the younger students as they arrived at St. Gregory.

Gorman Principal Jim Franz said the faculty was excited to have students back on campus.
