A road west of Noonday that washed out nearly two weeks ago has reopened. 

County Road 1133 has been repaired and is safe for drivers, the Smith County government announced Monday in a news release. 

The following roads affected by recent storms remain closed: County Road 2186, west of Troup city limits; and county roads 26 and 247, east of Tyler city limits. 

The county is encouraging people to contact the Road and Bridge Department at 903-590-4801 to report road washouts and other damage.
