The Rose Festival isn't the only parade this week, as Robert E. Lee High School kicked off homecoming week in style with its annual campus parade.

Students created floats and showed their best school spirit, with the parade making its way around campus and onto the practice field for a pep rally.

Students of all ages joined their older siblings for the pep rally, with even the littlest football players from the flag football leagues on the field.

Student council members Luke Bryans, Mallory Collins, Amelia Wegener and Hannah Hill said they have been busy planning the event since summer.

"We just wanted a fun thing everyone could enjoy, so we picked Rock 'n' Roll," Bryans said. "We thought it would get everyone involved and excited."

The school also will be having crazy hat day and a Christmas day among other themes in the run up to homecoming on Friday.
