Tyler police are investigating the armed robbery of the Posado's restaurant on East Fifth Street late Sunday night.

Shortly before 11 p.m., the Tyler Police Department received a 911 call about an armed robbery of a Posado's located at 2500 E. Fifth St. Upon arrival, officers learned that the restaurant had been robbed by two to three black males wearing all black clothing. The suspects forced three employees into a walk-in freezer at gunpoint and then stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured, according to police. The scene was processed and the area was searched for the suspects without finding them. Detectives from the Tyler Police Department Major Crimes Unit will continue the investigation.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any other felony case.
