Chipper the blue heeler

Are you looking for a manly dog? Meet Chipper, a 1-year-old American blue heeler. Chipper is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler. American blue heelers are known for loyalty, protective instincts, courage, watchfulness and a true devotion to their duty. Like other herding breeds, blue heelers naturally enjoy having a job to do. Chipper has been neutered, is current on starting vaccinations, including rabies, and has been microchipped for identification purposes. Best of all, Chipper is house trained. For additional information on adopting Chipper, call 903-597-2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website: petsfurpeople.org. Adoption hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; closed for lunch 1-2 p.m. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick-and-mortar, no-kill shelter in East Texas. It offers dog boarding and routine vaccinations except for rabies for dogs and cats. Follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner: Spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated at petsfurpeople.org
