Everybody got treats Monday when students from Oak Hill Montessori School paid a Halloween Trick or Treat visit to the residents of Prestige Estates Assisted Living & Memory Care in Tyler.
Just about everyone from the Halloween lexicon - Iron Man, Harry Potter and a variety of ghosts, ghouls and princesses - made their way down the hallways. Residents gathered outside their apartments, holding bags, boxes and plates of candy, giving out sweets and a good helping of “Ooohs” and “Ahhs” as the young people strode by.
Catheryn Phillips even donned a cat mask and ears for the occasion as she handed out miniature bars of chocolate with her across-the-hall neighbor, Virginia Harris.
“We have as much fun as they do,” Mrs. Harris said of her young visitors.
